Expert Witness

Acting as an expert witness forms an important part of JWS Property Consultancy's work.  Instructions are most often received from solicitors, but also directly from private individuals, companies and trustees.
 
Expert witness work of any kind requires rigorous, detailed research in order to ensure that all the evidence is accurate, relevant and clearly presented. All reports produced are compliant with court requirements, and respect the expert's duty to provide impartial advice; the test being that the advice would be the same, irrespective of the party for whom one is acting.

I have provided expert reporting and advice in a wide range of cases including:
  • disputes over building contracts
  • professional negligence
  • criminal proceedings
  • flood damage and environmental impact conflicts
 My evidence has been give to county courts, small-claims courts and planning enquiries, and before the Lands Tribunal.
